This is a mixed medium work of pastels and charcoal. It is inspired by the migraine auras I get. I have chronic migraine disease with aura and persistent migraine aura. In particular, my persistent migraine aura that I get every day looks like an arch of multicoloured sparks or stars warping and waving in my upper visual field. At times it will obscure my entire visual field and other times just stay as that shifting arch.
